The auditions so far this season have been friggin hilarious. So far my fave moments have been those black girls fighting and one of them finally saying 'da proof is in da paypuh'. Loved the whole Zach is a boy wearing girls clothes shit.
Whatcha all think about this season? Seen anyone you like yet?

I think this season is beating the whole concept to death.
How many American Idols will there be before they realize 3/4 of the nation doesn't care?

The problem is 3/4ths of the nation do care, and that it gets the ratings better and better everyyear -- and gets more votes every year. So yeah, I'd think people care.
As for me. I hate the audition episodes. I like when the people who actually can sing show up in hollywood, but thats coming from someone who watches for the talent and not he humour or drama.

I watch the whole season because I love the craziness at the beginning then I love seeing who the real talents are by the end.

Heres something to think about Devon, 300million people doesn't mean 300million residences. Say it gets 21 million, that could be 100 million watching. Just a thought  |

True, even with 100 million TVs, it isn't that close to 75 million in ratings. I believe the highest it has reached is about 40 million, and that was at the big finale.
It must also be noted that many who watch the show don't even care. That's the sole reason why Scott Savol lasted so long.

I love the audition episodes, but I love when the actual season begins...with the talent competing.
And what is up with every season having scandals behind people making it to Hollywood? START DOING BACKGROUND CHECKS!! They are just doing this shit on purpose now, it's so annoying.
The 2 twin guys are in trouble...I still say Frenchie would of won that one season if they didn't kick her out because she was in porn before...

Don't they have a Frenchie type woman this year? And Simon made fun of her saying they'll need a bigger stage this year lolz.
I think she'll do well. At least I hope so cuz I get sick of the usual pop singer. They got no souuuuuul.
