I LOVE the auditions! It's my favorite part of the show. My hubby and I debate on who will be picked and who won't, laugh at the REALLY BAD singers, and especially at those who are so cocky and can't sing, and how indignant they get when they aren't picked. I love to see the emotions of those who do get picked! Also, it shows the personal side of it. How those people feel before and after an audition. They don't do that after the final 10 have been picked. I usually get bored after the final 10 have been picked, and then I usually tape the first show of the week so I can fast-forward after listening to just a little bit of their songs (unless it's REALLY good), then I watch the results show. I know, I'm not a "True Fan" of AI. I did vote the first 2 years, but I haven't voted in the last 2. *Slaps hand* BAD DEBI!

That's true, Devon! I hated Scott Savol! I didn't think he should have lasted as long as he did. However, I didn't take the time to vote. I guess I didn't think my "one little 'ol vote" would make a difference.

I kind of root for the underdogs. I like that little cowboy dude who sings to the cows on his parents ranch and has never left his town until now. He has an AWESOME voice! I totally didn't expect him to sound that good. I don't remember what their names are, but, that one set of black twins that made it through in Hollywood... I don't like them, and hope they both get booted. They were dissing everyone after they made the first cut in Hollywood and then one of them told someone who got booted that he would "call J. Moss for him because he was too talented for this competition." I also like that little girl, Mecca, that we saw in the auditions before Hollywood. She was the bellydancer. We didn't see anything of her in the first hollywood show. I'm hoping she makes final 10. I'm gonna have to pay more attention this week to the names of those I like. LOL
