Southern Mexico is blessed with dense jungle and tropical forests, that provide a rich habitat for an awesome variety and number of wildlife: trees, plants, birds, bats, mammals and fish. The climate is hot, with a drenching humidity that keeps this region lush, reflecting the deep, emerald green colors here.
Deep within the Southern Mexican Jungle, 16 players will come together to compete in a challenge like no other. Stranded with no help at all, these 16 players will have to compete against each other and save themselves from elimination. In the end, 1 player will outwit them all to become the ultimate legacy.
The Concept
The game will be a mix of concepts taken from the hit reality shows "Survivor" and "Big Brother" from CBS. Since we cannot physically take 16 people and make them survive in the Mexican Jungle, the game is played over a message board and AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). The players will receive each other’s screen names, and are free to talk amongst each other as they please. The players will be required to copy and paste any relevant conversations into their private journals which are located on the message board. This will aid in the creation of episodes.
Episodes
The player will be required to post all conversations relevant to the main plot of the game, there will be episodes written for each week. These will include confessionals from players, conversations between players, challenges, and more. These episodes will be released after the game has been completed, and will be released once a week.
Rules (Rules Changed February 21, 2006)
1. No arguing with the hosts, whatever is said by them is final.
2. You must be online to participate in challenges and socialize with fellow players.
3. You must copy and paste all conversations relevant to the game in your private journal.
4. Post atleast 2 confessionals per week in your private journal.
5. If you fail to vote in an elimination, you will receive an self-vote.
6. If you make it to the Jury, you are expected to vote choose a winner. Anyone who places 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th will be apart of the Jury.
7. Please do not quit. If you don't want to be apart of this experience, don't apply.
8. Once in the game, keep game information inside. Do not spoil it for the readers when the episodes come out. If this information is released to the public, serious action will be taken. Keep all game information to yourself.
9. As long as you remain in the game, please try to not speak at all with the players already eliminated.
