I don't think people are going to run to this game with open arms... But, good luck! Actually, I advertised here as a sidenote to the other places I have already advertised. From the ORG Community I expect the same applications from the same people who always apply. But I don't expect people to run to the game with open arms to begin with. Here's the one thing that you are overlooking: I actually completed production on all four volumes of Paranoia. I did not cancel 1 of these 4 games. There was a winner in each of them. All I did was cancel episodes.... but if you want to look down the line of ORG's in the last year or so --- tell me how many of them actually completed episodes. I would have to say that Paranoia did better than most. I understand that people are upset that I didn't continue with episodes... but dear lord move on. I am doing episodes for the project in another way that actually interests me. I opened the forums and revealed what needed to be revealed at that time. So if you are holding Paranoia against me... well go ahead. It just seems a little stupid in my opinion. At the same time of completing Paranoia I also completed Wasted Youth. Yes, no episodes but the game never was cancelled as well. So get over it and move on. The game is where the memories and friendships are made. Not the episodes. |

uh huh ... and after bringing your entire site down and cancelling a presumably near complete game plan - you've decided to base an entirely new game on an average movie instead of continuing with your usual original game setups?

Travis, that wasn't meant to be a criticism...that was more a reality. Anywho... There is no doubt in my mind that you worked hard. I would hope everyone here knows you did. And there is no doubt in my mind the games were awesome (or at least, Volume 3 was for me...), but the truth is when people look at a game, the last thing they remember is the last thing that happened. For The Jaguar, it was seeing Valerie revealed as a Goddess. For Paranoia, it will be (and will always be) never getting to see any webisodes. The only thing I personallly am upset about was not having the mysteries of the game ever fully explained. I understand that there might be other projects that possess some of the same ideas, and therefore you wouldn't want to. However, I can't help but want some complete closure. At any rate, I wish you good luck with your projects...I'm not sure how involved I'd want to become with them (if at all) just because if I were to get wrapped up in some obscure surreal mystery, I don't know if it ever would be explained. That is my sole reservation. So, I just wish you good luck. P.S. Belle and me were still wondering who Colleen was in WY. Was she Lacey, and if so does that mean one of the other aliases wasn't an actual player? |
