Have you heard about this new show. It is supposed to start this march on FOX. It sounds weird to me. Like a Big Brother rip off.

sounds alright
9 people trapped in a bunker and they mose unamiously pick a winner or the prize pot gets smaller and smaller
would suck for fox if it ended after one episode though

true, true..... I think 3 Ball Productions is the company who made this idea up. Bad for them as well. They are the ones who did Endurance and the Biggest Loser

Well, who knows. If they get a diverse enough group of people...they could have some interesting results.
The only thing is, they probably would want to have SOME type of challenges. As it stands, I might watch the first episode just to see what it is...but I doubt I would really enjoy watching people in a bunker.

It's not going to last... they cast people who aren't exactly people who you would "typically" see on Big Brother. Basically, they got people different ends of the political and religious spectrum. Liberals vs Conservatives, Athesists vs. Religious... sure, these are fascinating topics for PBS to tackle but not a ratings getter for FOX. Sure there'll be fights and such but it'll be over politics and religion. 3) These aren't exactly the most attractive bunch of people... remember Big Brother 1? Yes, nice to see average Americans on TV who aren't models BUT... um... Without the romantic angle, the sex appeal, or even entertaining fights, this show will struggle to find an audience and will end up like Forever Eden which wasn't quite "forever." This isn't going to be a trashy reality show FOX is known for and it's going to sink fast. |

This show starts 3/22 (this wednesday-9:30est/8:30cst) who's gonna be watching it?
have you guys seen the other clips of the show- apparently it looks like someone is from like a nut house- it could be alot more interesting than i thought...

I'm watching it. I think it has a TON of potential.
They didn't pick a boring cast or people of who won't get in fights...the casting crew isn't stupid.

It was interesting. They can't put much into a half hour show, but then again with no challenges I guess all they have to put is fights and such.

I watched most of it, and actually liked it. However, I did feel like they were cramming it into a half hour timeslot. How are we supposed to get to know these people at all?
Also, I'm somewhat confused as to if this was a pre-taped show, or if it is going on right now? Wouldn't the people in the bunk be able to spill?
This show would be A LOT more intriguing if they did it like Big Brother, with realtime footage you could watch on the internet.

Personally, I would like that idea, too. But I don't think it would have enough popularity for the feeds and such to be profitable overall. Plus, wouldn't you just *love* paying for three months of feeds and consequently only be watching for three days before the whole schpeel is over? sux. Having the whole "it can last however long..." aspect is very intriguing and adds a new dimension to the game, but it also casts more limitations, as well.
