THE PARANOIA PROJECT
C.T. VanHoose’s, The Paranoia Project, is nearing the one year mark of its introduction to the world. Since January 2005, four volumes in this thrilling online reality mystery game have been produced, with a total of 56 diverse and eccentric cast members.
What began as a simple game has now become an obsession for many players and viewers, as they have tiresly searched for answers to the numerous mysteries of Enigma Springs, Ohio --- where the first volumes took place. However, many people have grown weary of waiting for answers, and the rumor mill began working overtime as The Paranoia Project seemed to lose its steam and the website became dormant and no webisodes seemed likely to air.
A hushed whisper of anger and annoyance begin to fill the air, feeding the fears of many, who were sure that Paranoia was dead!
When The Paranoia Project first appeared to recede into oblivion, webisodes for Volume 1 had been completed and the first webisode of the much anticipated Volume 2 had premiered. And then suddenly, without warning, things came to a stand-still and it seemed that Paranoia was doomed to nothing more than a fleeting memory to those who came into contact with it.
Until October 2005…
The man, the myth, the legend --- C.T. VanHoose, who always claimed that Paranoia was not dead, only sleeping, emerged from the shadows and announced that The Paranoia Project was about to be re-launched. And then on a chilly weekend in November 2005, his promise was manifest with the launch of the all new Paranoia Project, at its new home on C.T. VanHoose’s Acid 9 Network. (http://acid9.org)

What Do Past Players Have To Say About The Paranoia Project?
“What I liked most about Paranoia is the people, and the competition. I met some great people through Paranoia and had a great time. I also liked the competition. I played in every challenge that I was able to, and saw it all the way to the end. It was a great experience and l'll never forget it. I'm a competitive person and this was exactly what I needed.” -Drew (Volume 1)
“What I liked most about Paranoia is the detail put into each facet of the game. The hosts put a huge amount of time into the game, and it seriously paid off. I loved the whole experience.” –Dustin (Volume 1)
“My favorite thing about Paranoia is the social structure the game brings out. It is very diverse and makes even veteran gamers rethink their much used strategies.” Aaron (Volume 2)
“My favorite thing about Paranoia is the strange parallel to David Lynch movies/TV shows that may or may not exist.” -Devon (Volume 3)
“I loved talking to the characters. It felt like an alternate universe where I could manipulate strange and quirky people for my own purposes.” –Oscar (Volume 2)
“Paranoia is the most intense game I have ever played, hands down. I love being scared by the storyline and not knowing what is going to happen next. Barely escaping death around every turn is such a rush.” –Cam (Volume 1)
“I loved that I was so off-balance the whole time. It was just so unpredictable!” Simone (Volume 3)
“I loved the intensity- you never know what's coming next. The paranoia drives you INSANE!” –Lenore (Volume 2)
“I liked the fact that anyone had a real chance to win, whether they be smart, alliance crazy or in my case luck, plus of course the challenges were really good.” –Andy (Volume 1)
