Spotlight: On Apollo and early in merge Alex had dotingly played Tyler’s pawn and apprentice. The idea of voting his “mentor” out of the game had been on Alex’s mind long before merge but he was patient in pushing it to fruition, planting seeds of doubt in the Temple of Zeus tribe until the vote was ripe to pluck. He had made all the right connections and broken all the wrong ones.

Spotlight: Chelsea had carefully remained in the center of power for her time on Athena and past merge her name was rarely brought up as a boot choice. She’d found a solid niche around players who were more boisterous and threatening than she was. But don’t mistake this for a UTR strategy, because Chelsea’s mind was constantly churning and she was in constant cahoots with her allies in working their way up to the top.

Spotlight: On Apollo Libby had been the challenge powerhouse, backed up by the strengths of Jessica and the remaining members of the Apollo tribe. She stuck out to the Athenian tribe due to her out of game friendship with Lucian and her strength at the challenges. She was wary of Jessica, and rightfully so, but stuck by her friend and ally up and through the round she went home. Libby surprisingly bounced back during the next few rounds, dodging two more tribal councils with the practiced ease of a Survivor veteran.

Spotlight: On Apollo Nicole had become one of the token new players and fallen to some of the “predators” of the tribe (Jessica, Luke and Tyler). She listened to their words of advice but her main strategy was simply not to upset or offend anyone. Nicole was the sweetheart of the entire game and struggled to find a balance in playing Survivor and still keeping true to her word and person.

Spotlight: On Athena Trey had simply fallen in with the active crew and gone along with the stream. At merge he rekindled a friendship with Nicole and started to play the game a little differently. He joined into an alliance with Darcy and Jessica and Libby only to “betray” them by voting Jessica out merely a round later. Trey’s loyalties to this point had been fuzzy and he seemed unable to truly commit to any solid alliance but rather tried to go with the flow as frequently as possible.
